The Royal Chitwan National Park is home to a very rich flora and fauna. The park is world renown for being one of the last refuges of the one horn rhino and home to other fascinating species like royal Bengal tigers, leopards, Asiatic elephants, wild boars, sloth bears, the endanger gharial crocodiles, monkeys, 5 types of deers and more than 600 species of birds.

ITINERARY

Day:1 After arrivel on Gorakhpur Railway Station/Airport we will meet you from and drive towards the Gorakhnath Temple. we will start our journey by visiting Shri Guru Gorakhnath Temple located in Gorakhpur, which takes about 30 minutes, the district is named Gorakhpur after the name of Guru Gorakhnath ji. According to the Puranas, Guru Gorakhnath was an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The Gorkhas of Nepal got their name from the name of Guru Gorakhnath ji. after that we drive towards the Sonauli border which is 100 Kilometers from Gorakhpur. The road to the border is good and goes through a lot of Tarai villages. We stop for some time at the border for vehicle entry permit procedures which take more than one hour. After finishing all the paper works, We visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, then proceed further towards Chitwan National Park. After reaching Chitwan National Park rest some time in our then enjoy Tharu Cultural Dance Program and overnight rest in our Hotel.

Day:2 Today morning we will wake up early morning around 5:00 am will go for a jungle jeep safari and elephant safari and after safari come back to the hotel have breakfast after that we drive towards Kathmandu on the way we visit Manakamana Devi Temple also known as Manokamana which is 60 kilometers from Chitwan. The Temple is situated on top of a mountain, and you need to take one of the kind cable car rides to reach the Temple. Manakamana cable car is considered one of the longest in Asia. Manakamana is Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Devi Parvati. After visiting the Temple, we will return down in the same cable car and start our onward journey to Kathmandu which is 108 kilometers from manokamna. After reaching Kathmandu we will rest overnight in our hotel.

Day:3 Today we will visit some of the must-visit places in Kathmandu valley. We will visit Pashupatinath Temple which is the most important Shiva Temple in the entire world, this sacred place is considered one of the most important temples in the world and one of the most visited tourist places in Kathmandu. The complex is on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list for decades. After then we will visit Guhyeshwari Temple which is situated 1 kilometer from Pashupatinath Temple and situated on the bank of the Bagmati River. Guhyeshwari is a Shakti Peeth. After visiting these two temples we will visit Jal Narayan Temple also known as Budhanilkantha Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Then we will visit Swayambhunath & Monkey Temple which is a prominent Buddhist Stupa and a famous monastery. After finishing all these places, we will return to our hotel. In the evening you can visit the colorful streets of Kathmandu for shopping. Overnight rest in Kathmandu Hotel.

Day:4 Today we will start our journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara and on the way visit Chandragiri Hill by Cable car. it’s a most beautiful tourist point in Kathmandu valley, Chandragiri Hill is seven kilometers from Thankot, and lies on the southwest side of Kathmandu Valley which is 2551 meters above sea level. The hill provides panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Everest. Then proceed further towards Lake-town Pokhara. Most of the road to Pokhara goes through mountains where you can see a lot of mountain top villages. After reaching Pokhara we will rest overnight in our hotel.

Day:5 Today after breakfast we will start our local sightseeing in Pokhara valley. We will visit the most popular Taal Barahi Temple, which is on a small Island on Phewa Lake. Then We will visit Bindhyabasini temple, Goddess Bindhyabasini who is the sister of goddess Durga is worshipped here. Then we will visit seti river, Seti is one of the holiest rivers of Nepal, worshiped in Hinduism as a form of Vishnu. Then we will visit Davis waterfall, which is a spectacular waterfall in the Pokhara valley. Then we will visit Gupteswar Mahadev cave you need to get down deep into the cave to visit Gupteswar Mahadev. After Gupteswar Mahadev , we will visit International Mountain Museum. The rest of the day will be a leisure day so you can go shopping or roam around the lakeside street. Overnight rest in Pokhara Hotel

Day:6 Today is the last day of our journey, after breakfast, we drive towards Gorakhpur. on the way we visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Most part of the road till Lumbani goes through mountains where you can see a lot of mountain top villages. We will stop again for some time approx 20min at the border for the paper check then start our journey towards Gorakhpur. We will drop you near the station/airport with sweet memories of the Nepal tour. so you can go on your onward journey. Trip Ends.
